6 new puzzles added (4/17/2009).
If you're visiting this site, we probably have something in common... Most likely, you recently flew on Southwest Airlines and passed some of the time by working on the Shinro puzzles in an issue of Spirit Magazine. Like me, you later searched the internet looking for additional puzzles to work on and found little or nothing in the way of Shinro puzzles.
My reaction was to start designing my own Shinro puzzles. I personally find it more challenging to build a puzzle then to solve it. But if you are looking for Shinro puzzles to solve, please take a shot at the puzzles on this site and feel free to provide feedback (using the
Feedback
page or e-mail to
info@shinropuzzles.com
) about what you do or don't like... or any other suggestions you may have.
Note that you'll have to print out this web page in order to work on the puzzle. You can also open the puzzles in Microsoft Word on the
Puzzles
page (which includes a copy of the puzzle below).
If you've never done a Shinro puzzle before, or just need a little help in solving them, be sure to check out the "How To" guide on the
Tutorial
page, with a step-by-step guide to solving Shinro puzzles, using Puzzle #1 as an example.
Note:
In my search for additional Shinro puzzles, I did learn that a puzzle-writing company called Puzzability creates the puzzles for Southwest's Spirit Magazine (and they actually coined the "Shinro" name as well). Although they do not have Shinro puzzles on their
website
, they do provide a number of other types of puzzles and puzzle-related information, so feel free to check them out.
Here's the first puzzle. Check out the
Puzzles
page for additional puzzles. There will be more to come in the future, so bookmark this site and come back again soon.
